VDL HMI is socially closely involved and manifests this, among other things, in its environmental policy. To this end, we have certified ourselves for the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, and from 2022 onwards, VDL HMI will annually produce an emission inventory in accordance with ISO 14064-1.

Since 2023, VDL HMI has been certified for the CO2 Performance Ladder at level 3.

The CO2 Performance Ladder is a tool to encourage companies to act with CO2 awareness and to reduce CO2 emissions in their own operations and during project execution. The CO2 Performance Ladder can be used as a CO2 management system and as a procurement instrument.
