Engineering

Your idea or existing concept translating from a 'Set of Requirements' into a 3D model and producing a complete set of drawings. We collaborate to engineer based on: customer requirements, manufacturability, low cost, reproducibility, consistent quality, and time-to-market! Prior to starting, you will receive a well-founded quotation, prototype, and zero-series costs from us, ensuring clarity for both parties. Intensive collaboration with the customer in this phase is essential.

Calculation

Based on the drawings package we present to you a calculation of the product and required molds. We are always looking for the most suitable production method within VDL. Transparency and openness are our starting point and a healthy basis for collaboration!

Template production

After consensus has been reached and the drawing package is 'frozen', we proceed with producing a small batch of product components. The welding templates are designed as 3D models and then assembled. We fit the product components into the mold so that they fit perfectly. Testing and matching theory and practice! This way, we can thoroughly test the product in all aspects and make adjustments if necessary. Preparing it for future serial production! A good welding template is the foundation of a top-quality final result. Because the mold production is carried out in-house, we can achieve this within a short timeframe. 

Series production

After releasing the templates and the assembled product, we proceed to the next phase.

We are configured to produce that meets our customer's needs. Customers wanting to outsource certain operations are also in the right place with us. Think of, among others: laser cutting, tube laser cutting, edge finishing and welding etc.

We are open to 'just-in-time' delivery of your products, so you don't have to say no to your own contacts. Building up stock of parts or semi-finished products and supplying on demand gives you the advantage of being able to deliver quickly and offering a low product price.

Additional services

Surface treatments (including powder coating, KTL, wet painting, hot-dip galvanizing, electrolytic galvanizing) as well as packaging and assembly can be provided by us. In cooperation with VDL sister companies and partners in our network. One stop shopping is well known to us; we arrange and relieve you of the worries, so you have a single contact person.
